The Transformation (Exterior)
In late November of 2009, we purchased our new location. After the holidays passed and weather became permissible, we began the work on “Project 711”. This location, in the Village of Riverview, was originally a grocery store and later the Lighthouse Youth Center. The facilility was in deplorable condition.
Our goal: transform the unusable facility to a place of worship and community outreach. Upon completion, the building, an innate object, will stand as symbol of pride and hope for the community. Of paramount importance and consistent with the vision of GNCC, it is a testimony of God’s transforming power.
